As the situation around COVID-19 continues to develop, we understand there are many concerns around the impact to the community and the broader Australian economy.
Awardsandtrophies.com.au is doing everything we can to support the jobs of our team members during this challenging time and we remain steadfast in our belief in the importance of recognising all the positive things happening around us. To this end, we are still open and our expert team continue to produce quality trophies for deserving Australians.
With the ever-evolving situation, we have been making and will continue to make changes to the way we do things to ensure the on-going safety of our customers and our team. These include:
Safety of our Products
We are closely monitoring guidance from the World Health Organisation (WHO) around the spread of COVID-19 via commercial goods. “In general, because of poor survivability of coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packages that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures”.
Cleaning and Hygiene
While we already have very high standards for hygiene, we have implemented increased sanitising stations at our premises.
Social Distancing
We are a social bunch, however we have paused our team gatherings both inside and outside of the workplace. We have also increased our ‘work remotely’ capabilities to enable those team members that do not need to be onsite to work from home.
Updated Delivery Options
We continue to deliver all of our orders via Express Shipping for a low flat rate of $9.90 for single locations. With increasing restrictions around gatherings & many celebratory events being cancelled, we have introduced a ‘Multiple Locations’ delivery option, enabling businesses and clubs to still deliver trophies to their teams and members easily.
We have also moved to a ‘Contactless Pick-Up’ service at 31 Cordova Street, Milton. When Pick-Up orders are ready for collection, customers will receive a notification and a request to make full payment using our secure online payment system. When you arrive at our premises (we have 2 visitor parks right out front), simply give us a call and one our of friendly team members will bring your order right to your car.
These are undoubtedly testing times for all Australians given the impact COVID-19 is having on the way we live and work. And it seems we still have a long way to go.
